INFORMATION PRESS RELEASE

On December 16, 2015 at 3:00 PM Secretary-General of the Interior Ministry of State Hon. Mbarak Abdulwakil will officially open the Annual Meeting of Senior Officials of the Mainland Prison to be held in the Great hall Ukonga Prison officials in Dar es Salaam.

The meeting is the highest Session Jeshini that involve the Heads of the Regional Prisons, senior officers of the Headquarters and Heads of Institutions of Prisons. The theme of this conference is the performance and productivity, integrity and professionalism at work.

The purpose of the annual meeting is to assess the collective performance of the Prison in all its areas and strategies to deal with the challenges, fix irregularities observed and to set goals to improve overall performance in the following year.

The central theme of this Annual Meeting will be issued by the Commissioner General of Prisons where the subject has taken into account the current slogan of the Government of Phase Five.

Decisions and strategies provided by this conference will be of special importance in organizing and providing guidelines for performance in the implementation of the obligations of this army.
